Changes

What’s new

Everything new in the tools, latest first.

Oct 30, 2026 · Rigging Rudi 1.3.0

New report detects changes

  • When you load a new report into a project, Rudi compares every value with the old one. Checks stay only where nothing changed.
  • Changed angles, heights, and positions are marked “new” until someone checks them off, so the crew sees right away what needs to change.
  • Arrays are matched by name, so their order in the report no longer matters. New arrays are marked “new” throughout, removed ones disappear along with their checks.

Oct 30, 2026 · Rigging Rudi 1.2.3

Real gap between stacks

  • Each stack now shows the gap to the next one, meaning the free space between the cabinets. Center to center is shown small next to it.
  • Width and depth come from the Soundvision report, so the gap and top view are also correct for subs standing upright.

Oct 30, 2026 · Rigging Rudi 1.2.2

Stacks with distance from center

  • Instead of X and Y from Soundvision, each stack shows how many meters left or right of center it sits, as seen from FOH.
  • If a stack sits in front of or behind the line of the others, it shows how much further front or back.

Oct 30, 2026 · Rigging Rudi 1.2.1

Stacks can be checked off, subs get their own tile

  • Checking off a stack showed “Invalid check item” and the check wasn’t saved. Fixed.
  • Subs now have their own block in the overview with a wide tile: a small top view of all stacks, checked ones in green, plus setup and progress. Before, they slipped under the group above.

Oct 30, 2026 · Rigging Rudi 1.2.0

Subs as one tab with stacks to check off

  • Stacked subs no longer appear as separate arrays. They sit together in the “Subs” tab: one check per stack, sorted left to right, with setup, rear-facing cabinets, azimuth, spacing to the next stack, and X/Y position from Soundvision.
  • A top view shows the stacks with real cabinet dimensions from above, the thick edge is the front. Checked stacks turn green, tapping a stack jumps to its row. On phones the sketch scrolls sideways.
  • Flown subs stay separate arrays. Existing projects get the tab without a new report; checks on old sub rows no longer count.

Oct 29, 2026 · Konverter Konrad 1.6.4

Polish after design review

  • Scene list: entries with long titles are no longer squeezed and no longer overlap. The filter tabs wrap on desktop, on phones the name column stays narrow enough for the matrix.
  • Deselecting buses: deselected buses are easier to recognize as re-checkable, the fields are larger and carry bus type and number for screen readers.
  • The note about mixer blocks with their own bus configuration now names only the differences, the full lists are behind “show”.

Oct 28, 2026 · Konverter Konrad 1.6.3

More robust bus selection

  • FX sends can no longer be deselected individually because they are tied to the FX units and FX returns. You can still reduce the count.
  • A target count you set by hand is kept when unchecking. Raising a number again brings the deselected buses back.
  • “Fit automatically” keeps your deselection and only cuts further if the budget requires it.
  • Focus stays after number fields, the block can be collapsed. Long scene titles wrap, missing English texts added.

Oct 28, 2026 · Konverter Konrad 1.6.2

Polish for recall matrix and bus selection

  • The matrix no longer overflows on phones; the scene list and tabs keep focus and scroll position when switching.
  • Locked cells are drawn more calmly, the legend has its own row, keyboard and screen reader users get labels.
  • In the bus selection the list stays open, focus stays on the checkbox, deselected buses are struck through.
  • English: “locked” instead of “safed”.

Oct 28, 2026 · Konverter Konrad 1.6.1

Avantis shows with a differing bus configuration

  • Avantis → dLive failed on shows whose mixer blocks carry a different bus configuration than MixConfig and the bus blocks (message “Mixer row 1: 179 instead of 184”): all scenes were dropped. Konrad now reads mixer rows by the configuration in each mixer block’s header, the scenes are translated and the log carries a note.
  • The Check tab warns when mixer blocks and show don’t match and names both configurations.
  • Mono buses must be even on dLive as well (otherwise an error on the console). Konrad now rounds, checks and reports this for both consoles.

Oct 28, 2026 · Konverter Konrad 1.6.0

Deselect individual buses

  • In the Buses tab you can now deselect individual buses, like channels. Deselected buses are dropped, their ways are freed on the target and the remaining buses of that type move up. Names, sends, bus-to-bus sends, bus processing and strip assign follow the new numbering.
  • The number fields and “Fit automatically” work as before: lowering a count deselects the last buses. “Like source” resets the selection. Without any deselection the generated show is byte for byte the same as before.
  • Mono buses only exist in pairs on Avantis and dLive: a single deselected mono bus only frees its way once a second one follows.

Oct 28, 2026 · Konverter Konrad 1.5.0

Recall filters as a matrix like in Director

  • The Scenes tab now shows recall filters as a matrix: scene list on the left with the Global Safes first, on the right the channels as rows and the filters as columns for each scene. Safed fields are filled, partly safed ones hatched.
  • Views: channel fields, sends to groups, Aux/FX and matrix (per bus), AHFX sends, DCA and mute groups, and mixes. “Only filtered channels” hides everything that is recalled; “Channel names from the show” turns the names on or off.
  • FX, FX returns, DCA channels and the mix sends follow later because their position in the data is not yet certain. Avantis shows keep the simple list.

Oct 28, 2026 · Konverter Konrad 1.4.0

Recall filters and safes with parameter names

  • Konrad now names what is safed or filtered on a dLive: fader, mute, pan, name and color, trim, preamp model, HPF and LPF, insert, PEQ, gate, comp, delay, direct out, source, main, wedge and IEM, plus sends by bus, DCA and mute groups. For mixes it covers fader, mute, pan, name and color, ext. trim, insert, PEQ, comp, GEQ, delay, send source and group to group.
  • In the Scenes tab, each scene and the Global Safes get one line per group of identically safed inputs or mixes, for example “Inputs 43, 46, 51 to 55: everything”. A scene only reads “recalls nothing” when everything is blocked; otherwise it says “filtered”.
  • The mapping comes from the program code of dLive Director 2.12 and was checked against a real show (BAP26 Dresden) and scenes with all filters set. Konrad doesn’t read FX, FX returns, DCA strips, Other or the sends of mixes yet.

Oct 28, 2026 · Konverter Konrad 1.3.0

dLive bus budget corrected, safes with names

  • The dLive bus budget was set too high. It has 64 buses in total, and Main and PAFL take four of them. That leaves 60 ways for your buses, not 62. Konrad now warns you before Director rejects the configuration. Checked against a real show using exactly 60 ways.
  • Recall filters and Global Safes were read one byte off, so every scene counted one blocked setting too many and was wrongly shown as filtered. The count is correct now: scenes without a filter read “recalls everything” again.
  • In the Scenes tab, dLive shows now list which inputs and which mixes are safed or filtered, and Global Safes use the names from the show. A pure strip assign scene is recognizable because all inputs and mixes are filtered.

Oct 26, 2026 · Bass Benno 1.4.0

Vertical KS28 now matches Soundvision

  • The KS28 now has its own directivity for vertical placement, measured in Soundvision. Standing on its side, it radiates almost equally to the front and sides and only drops toward the rear. Benno used the horizontal curve before and was up to 4 dB too quiet to the sides.
  • Three complete arrays were checked against Soundvision: 6 cardioid stacks in a delay arc, 10 single subs in an arc with outer level taper, and 8 vertical stacks with a reversed sub. Across 49 probe points per array Benno is within 0.3 to 0.5 dB on average and at most 2.5 dB in cancellation zones.

Oct 25, 2026 · Bass Benno 1.3.2

Top view with array zoom

  • Above the top view, pick “All” or “Array”. “Array” zooms the map onto the subs so you see every enclosure up close and to scale.
  • All enclosures look the same; the grille side shows the direction: at the front for forward subs, at the rear for the reversed sub. The chevrons and arrows are gone.
  • In a physical arc, the enclosures rotate with their position so the grille points the real way. Grid labels stay readable on yellow, and the SB28 front view shows its two grille halves.

Oct 25, 2026 · Bass Benno 1.3.1

Subtle direction marks, all subs as they really look

  • The arrows next to the enclosures are gone. A small chevron inside each enclosure now shows where it radiates: dark for forward, yellow for rearward.
  • If a stack contains a reversed sub, its footprint is split: light at the front, dark at the rear.
  • The front view shows the KS28 and KS21 as they really look: the KS28 with two grille panels and the bass reflex channel in the middle, the KS21 with one grille panel and the channel at the side, the SB18 and SB28 with a full grille. For the reversed sub you see its plain rear panel with the connector plate.

Oct 25, 2026 · Bass Benno 1.3.0

Cardioid at a glance

  • In the top view, arrows show where it radiates: white for forward, black with a yellow outline for the reversed sub. A key below explains it.
  • Enclosures now show their grille side: dark at the front, yellow at the rear for the reversed sub. Cardioid stacks are easy to spot, even when stacked on top of each other.
  • The front view shows the subs in their real shape, with drivers and bass reflex ports. For the reversed sub you see its rear panel, outlined in yellow.
  • With cardioid, the table shows each stack’s layout (for example 2 + ↻1), and the export spells out the orientation.

Oct 25, 2026 · Konverter Konrad 1.2.2

Signal flow fits your screen

  • The signal flow now opens fitted to your window: the graphic shrinks to the width and height of the window, so you see everything without scrolling.
  • Switch to “Actual size” for full-size text, and “Fit to window” brings the overview back. The saved SVG is always actual size.

Oct 25, 2026 · Konverter Konrad 1.2.1

Cleaner signal flow, correct I/O ports

  • The signal flow is redrawn: lines arrive side by side at each bus instead of meeting in one point, the columns use the full width, and the paths to the main mix run below the aux column instead of through the boxes.
  • Avantis and Avantis Solo have two I/O ports. The patch now offers I/O port 1 and I/O port 2, and Konrad reads and writes both. When you switch to dLive, I/O port 2 goes to I/O port 2, or to I/O port 4 on the surface with a CDM rack.
  • The dLive C-Class surfaces (C1500, C2500, C3500, CTi1500) now have their DX port in the patch.

Oct 24, 2026 · Toolbox 2.27

New design, now in English too

  • The whole Toolbox, including every tool, now uses the new CLAP! Zentrale design: calmer, easier to read, and with bigger tap targets on your phone. No features were removed.
  • Pick your language at the top right of every page: DE or EN. Your choice is saved to your account and applies on all your devices. If you don’t pick one, the Toolbox follows your browser.
  • English is everywhere: sign in, Home, every tool, printouts, emails, this list, and the Schallpegel Schorsch manual. The DIN 15905-5 log stays in German and shows the English terms in small print below.
  • Invitation links can carry a language that’s preselected once you’ve set up your account.
  • The Projects window now works with the keyboard, and the tool bar on your phone shows every tool.

Oct 24, 2026 · Laufzeit Lutz 1.1.0

Typing numbers works properly

  • Typing “250” into the frequency field used to give you 500 Hz. Lutz now takes exactly what you type and only clamps the value when you leave the field.
  • The fields accept both comma and period (2,5 or 2.5), and the arrow keys still work.
  • On a computer, Lutz fits on one screen again.

Oct 24, 2026 · Rigging Rudi 1.1.0

Checks no longer get lost offline

  • Checks set without a connection are kept and sent as soon as you’re back online, even if the page was closed in between. Pending checks have a yellow outline.
  • You can set checks with the keyboard, and the focus stays on the check.
  • The Panflex value always shows in full, and the header with the project name stays at the top on your phone.

Oct 24, 2026 · Bass Benno 1.2.0

Complete printout, steps on your phone

  • The printout now includes all four settings groups and no longer shows any controls.
  • On your phone, the view follows you when you move between steps.
  • Buttons and the measurement point hint work better with the keyboard and screen readers.

Oct 24, 2026 · Routing Rosi 1.1.0

More room on your phone, printout on two pages

  • On your phone, the toolbar is a single row you can swipe, and the work area is much taller.
  • The printout fits on two pages: the plan with its legend, then the tables, with a header like Rudi’s.
  • When you connect, the source is marked in yellow; on your phone, tap Connect again to cancel. The device palette and the tables also work with the keyboard.

Oct 24, 2026 · Konverter Konrad 1.2.0

Fully usable with the keyboard

  • Target console, patch matrix, and Strip Assign now work with the keyboard.
  • A broken or wrong file now gets a clear message instead of a browser error.
  • The help text names the right step numbers. The conversion itself is unchanged.

Oct 24, 2026 · Punchline Pauline 1.1.0

Counting on your phone, cleaned up

  • Undo now sits at the bottom between Toolbox and Feedback, and at least as many catchphrases fit on the screen as before.
  • The “Offline, taps waiting” notice has its own line and no longer covers any numbers.
  • When you add several shows at once, invalid dates are rejected and stay in the field so you can fix them.

Oct 24, 2026 · Lausch Lars 2.1.0

Rounds stay on screen on your phone

  • After each answer, the next round on your phone starts with the timer and the question in view.
  • The leaderboard stays readable even with long names. Locked stages tell you how to unlock them when you tap them.
  • Right and wrong answers are clear without color, too (✓, ✕, ≈). Key 0 picks the tenth answer.

Oct 24, 2026 · Schallpegel Schorsch 1.1.0

Toolbox page and live page in the new design

  • Logs, half hours, and the download fit fully on your phone, and the rename dialog works entirely with the keyboard.
  • The live page for production now shows just the logo and the language switch at the top, and values without a measurement are shown quietly.
  • The PDF stays in German as before. With English selected, the English terms are added in small print, and headings never end up alone at the bottom of a page.

Oct 24, 2026 · Konverter Konrad 1.1.0

Avantis with dPack: 96 channels and 56 buses

  • With Avantis as the target console, you now choose the firmware (before 2.0 or 2.0 and later), dPack (yes or no), and Ultra FX (yes or no). dLive is unchanged.
  • With FW 2.0 and dPack, Konrad writes up to 96 channels and 56 buses to the Avantis show (previously always 64 channels max). Without dPack, it stays at 64 channels and 42 buses.
  • CompStortion only carries over with FW 2.0 and dPack; otherwise it becomes Manual RMS. You can only select Ultra FX with FW 2.0 and dPack. Konrad doesn’t transfer the units to Avantis yet and tells you so in the check.
  • Toolbox 2.25.

Oct 24, 2026 · Schallpegel Schorsch 1.0.4

Clipping in the log, gain indicator, faster RTA, target curve

  • During calibration, Schorsch shows live at which level the input clips and tells you how far to turn the gain down so peaks up to 135 dB(C) stay measurable.
  • If the input clips during a measurement, a notice stays up until you acknowledge it, in the mini window too. The half hour gets the tag “übersteuert” (clipped), its LCpeak counts as a minimum value, and History shows where it happened.
  • The log and the PDF list the clipping (count, duration, time) and mark LCpeak as a minimum (“mind.”). The Toolbox stores the new details as well (Toolbox 2.24).
  • RTA like in Smaart: a matching FFT length per frequency range and 30 frames per second. Mids and highs respond instantly, and lows keep their fine resolution.
  • Live/Club target curve in the RTA, adjustable in the settings (sub boost, corner frequency, slope, tolerance), with a “Ziel” (target) button in the RTA.
  • App 1.0.3 follows the Zentrale design system, and too loud is shown in pink again. App 1.0.2 adds max values in the tiles and a mini window.

Oct 23, 2026 · Toolbox

Support view

  • Toolbox 2.23: If you have questions about your account, CLAP! Live Solutions can see the home page and the tools exactly as they look for you. Nothing is saved or changed, and these views don’t count toward your usage.

Oct 22, 2026 · Bass Benno 1.1.0

Cardioid now cancels properly to the rear

  • Until now, the rear-facing sub got a flat boost of +6 dB (2 in front) or +9.5 dB (3 in front). That ignored the fact that the front subs already radiate 3 to 10 dB less to the rear. So it was too loud at the rear and barely canceled (front-to-back ratio only 6 to 9 dB).
  • Benno now calculates the KS28 the way Soundvision does: directivity re-measured, acoustic center 0.45 m in front of the baffle, and the rear-facing sub with the level and phase of the KS28_60_C preset per frequency. Matched against a single KS28, a single KS28_C, 2+1, and 3+1 at seven angles from 0 to 180°: 0.2 dB deviation on average, 1.6 dB max.
  • The preset doesn’t adjust for the number of front subs, so 3+1 cancels less than 2+1 (about 11 instead of 15 dB at 50 Hz). Above 80 Hz, the preset strongly attenuates the rear-facing sub.
  • Preset measurements for KS21, SB18, and SB28 are still missing. For those, Benno calculates the ideal case (rear sub exactly as loud as the front subs radiate to the rear) and says so at the stack.
  • New test in the repo (tests/benno): physics self-tests and comparison with Soundvision values.
  • Toolbox 2.22.

Oct 22, 2026 · Lausch Lars 2.0.0

Lausch Lars as a game with real music and a leaderboard

  • No more noise: Lars plays real, freely licensed music from a pool (artist and license are shown in the game and on the music page). Your own files still work, stay on your device, and only count as practice.
  • Six game modes with three stages each that unlock as you go: EQ band (octaves, half octaves, third octaves), level (down to 1 dB), dynamics (compressor, limiter, distortion, or nothing), panning, delay, and reverb. Ten hits in one run unlock the next stage.
  • Gameplay: switch freely between the original and Lars (space bar), three lives, a time limit per round (20, 16, 12 seconds), and points with time and streak bonuses. An adjacent answer earns half points and doesn’t cost a life. Answer with the number keys, and press Enter to move on.
  • Leaderboard per game mode and stage (best run per account) and a daily challenge: 15 rounds across all game modes, the same for everyone, and only your first attempt counts. Choose your display name and earn nine badges (first run, streak, third octaves, fine ear, 100 and 1,000 rounds, golden ear, all-rounder, night shift).
  • Toolbox 2.21, Zentrale 1.0.113: progress and runs are stored in the Zentrale, only for Toolbox accounts with access.

Oct 22, 2026 · Toolbox

Oct 20, 2026 · Toolbox

New names, new icons, every tool with its own version 1.0.0

  • All tools now follow one naming pattern: Bass Benno (formerly Sub Array Albert), Rigging Rudi (Winkel Wolfgang), Routing Rosi (Signalfluss Sören), Laufzeit Lutz (Summierungs Siggi), Schallpegel Schorsch (Pegel Paule), Lausch Lars (Ohr-Otto), Konverter Konrad (Show Adapter), Punchline Pauline (Deutschrap Counter). Addresses and saved projects stay the same.
  • Each tool has a function line (for example “Rigging planner”) and now counts its own version, starting at 1.0.0. The version appears in the tool’s header and here in the list.
  • New icons for all tools, a function line on each tile on the home page, and “Toolbox” and “Feedback” at the bottom left of every tool (an email to us with the tool and version in the subject).
  • Footer with legal notice and privacy, a beta notice on the home page, and a privacy sentence when you sign up.
  • On phones: the brand bar scrolls sideways instead of being cut off, project lists in Rudi and Rosi no longer overflow, and Schorsch logs show as a narrow table (date below the name, status and PDF in the details). Project bar in Benno, Rosi, and Konrad without special characters.
  • Schallpegel Schorsch 1.0.0 as an app for Mac and Windows (formerly Pegel Paule 2.10): same features, new name, and on first launch it takes over the shows and the calibration from Pegel Paule.

Oct 19, 2026 · Schallpegel Schorsch

Pegel Paule is now app only, the Toolbox shows the download and logs

  • You measure in the app for Mac and Windows (download it here in the Toolbox). The Toolbox page shows the logs synced from the app: event details, half hours, and evaluation to look up, PDF download, turning the live link on or off and copying it, renaming, and deleting.
  • The public log link (view only) is gone, logs go out as PDFs. The live link for phones stays.
  • Toolbox 2.14: half hours in the details are more compact, the rating level is large and in color with the measured value small below it, status as short tags (OK, Info, Protection, Over, Peak), and a note only if there is one.

App 2.9 and 2.10: shows as a table, free RTA range, adaptive History, new view 1

  • Shows in the app as a table (name, date, venue, highest LAeq30, status) with delete per row. RTA loads with 1/48 octave, Smoothing 1/24, unweighted, and Peak Decay 1 dB/s. Range in 5 dB steps, with the mouse wheel and Shift plus mouse wheel right in the RTA. History range follows the visible values, and limit lines stay in view.
  • App 2.10: view 1 with LAeq30 as a wide band and the other meters below, in the order LAeq30, LAeq1 (now 1 minute), LCpeak, LAeq Budget, LAeq30 rolling. Too loud is red, and the traffic light is green, yellow, and red with custom labels. Closing during a measurement asks first and ends cleanly.
  • Live page: too loud is red, like in the app. App 2.10.1: live link and log link show the Toolbox server address. If you turn on the live link on the web during a measurement, the app picks it up within 30 seconds and starts sending.
  • Web: no change to measurement and log, only hooks for the app (Toolbox 2.10 to 2.12).

Paul measures on its own: measurement mic on your interface, automatic half hours, live link

  • Choose the input and channel, calibrate with a calibrator (94 or 114 dB), and Paul remembers the calibration per input. A and C weighting per IEC 61672-1 in real time, LAeq in 125 ms blocks, LCpeak as a true peak value.
  • Large display: LAeq of the current half hour, LAeq 1 s, LAeq 30 min rolling, LCpeak, and remaining budget (how loud the rest of the half hour may still be). Show curve with limit lines.
  • Paul fills in the half hours on the hour and half hour by itself. You can overwrite them, and the measured value stays next to your entry. Limits are adjustable per log.
  • Measurement position correction with pink noise from Paul: 20 s each at the loudest spot and at the measurement position, K(A) and K(C) go into the log. Check the calibration after the measurement.
  • Without a network connection, everything keeps running locally and syncs once you’re back online. The screen stays awake.
  • Paul builds the PDF itself (with curve and measurement chain), files it under “Dateien” (files) in the Zentrale, and takes event details from a Zentrale job. Live link for the production, no sign-in needed. Copy a log for the next show.

Projects on the server, workspace with zoom, fixed brand design

  • Projects are now stored on the server: the list on launch, new project from a template or empty, rename, and delete. Saves automatically.
  • The workspace reaches the bottom edge of the screen, so there’s no more scrolling. Dragging an empty area pans the view, and with Shift it draws a selection box. Zoom with − and +, or Ctrl or Cmd plus mouse wheel, and “Center” fits the plan into the middle.
  • Drag devices from the list exactly where you want them. A tap places them in the middle of the view.
  • No more sample plans, every project starts empty. Slimmer header and toolbar. Brand bar in the fixed brand design.
  • When you connect devices, Sören suggests the most likely connection: device knowledge for LA12X, LA7.16, LA4X, P1, Galaxy, Lake, DiGiCo SD, dLive, Avantis, Yamaha CL and QL, stageboxes, and switches. From that come the type, cable, connector, and channels: amp channels continue in sequence, AES3 from the processor does too, and the second network cable from the same device becomes the secondary path.
  • Line array configuration: enclosures and zones are only used for setup; after that, the table per zone is what counts.
  • A plan from the old version in your browser can be imported once as a project.

Rebuilt: check off hangs with your crew

  • Drop in a Soundvision report (PDF) and you’re done: one project per show with all arrays, grouped like in Soundvision.
  • Per array, only what you need at the motor: pickup point height, bottom elevation, rigging frame, bar position, pickup position, and site angle. Below that, every enclosure with its angle and Panflex setting, and ground-stacked systems with their positions.
  • Share: a link for the crew, view only or with checking off. Checks are the same for everyone and sync every 5 seconds.
  • Load a new report into an existing project, reset checks, and print all arrays.
  • The PDF library now lives in the Toolbox, nothing gets loaded from the web anymore.

New tool: count catchphrases on tour

  • One project per tour with its shows, catchphrases as tiles, and one tap counts. The most frequent catchphrases move to the top.
  • Stats across the tour: per show, per catchphrase, a catchphrases × shows table, and CSV export.
  • Add your own catchphrases, add suggestions with one tap, and undo the last tap.
  • Share: a public link per project, view only or count along. If several people tap the same catchphrase at almost the same time, it counts once.
  • Keeps counting without a network connection and sends the taps once you’re back online.
  • On show day, the day’s show is selected automatically, in the shared link too. Past shows are locked. You can rename catchphrases.

Free bus layout for dLive, new workflow, saving

  • Avantis → dLive now carries over any bus configuration (mono/stereo group, aux, FX, matrix) instead of the fixed template.
  • Guided workflow: show file, target console, check (traffic light), inputs, patch, Strip Assign, buses, and build.
  • Traffic light with collapsed tables and “Done” per item. Items marked done turn green.
  • Group-to-group routing (dLive) is resolved for Avantis.
  • Signal flow highlights the whole chain. Scenes show Recall Filters and Global Safes.
  • Your progress is saved in the browser and on the server via “Projects”.

  • Map with 6 dB contour lines and larger text, polar plot with labeled rings.
  • Starts with broadband 20 to 125 Hz and 1.00 m spacing between the stacks. Calculation unchanged.
